This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage) that Socialix uses, in accordance with § 25 TDDDG (formerly TTDSG) and the GDPR. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small files stored on your device. Some are essential for a website to function; others help us understand usage or remember your preferences. We only store non-essential cookies, and only access information already stored on your device for non-essential purposes, with your consent.
2. Categories we use
| Category | Legal basis | Examples |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Required — no consent needed (§ 25(2) TDDDG) | Authentication / session, security and CSRF protection, load balancing, and storing your cookie-consent choice. |
| Functional | Consent | Remembering preferences such as interface settings, where these are not strictly necessary. |
| Analytics & error monitoring | Consent | Aggregate usage measurement and error monitoring (e.g. Sentry) to keep the service reliable. These load only after you consent. |
3. Consent — and how trackers are blocked before it
Non-essential cookies and technologies (including analytics and error monitoring) are not loaded until you give consent through our cookie banner. You can accept, reject, or choose categories, and you can change your choice at any time via the cookie settings. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing carried out beforehand.
4. Managing cookies in your browser
You can also block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may impair core functionality such as signing in.
5. Third-party advertising
We do not use third-party advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
