Getting started

Connecting Discord & setting up your workspace

Socialix connects to Discord in one click and builds a ready-to-use workspace inside a Discord server. Here's how it works and what we recommend.

You provide the server

Socialix sets up your workspace inside a Discord server that you own. Discord doesn't allow apps to create servers on your behalf, so the one thing you bring is the server — everything inside it, Socialix builds for you. We recommend a dedicated server just for Socialix, so your branded channels stay tidy and separate from any community server.

No server yet? Make one in ~10 seconds

  • In Discord, click the + button on the far-left server bar.
  • Choose “Create My Own”, then “For me and my friends”.
  • Give it a name (for example “My Socialix”) — that's it.

Connect

  • On your account page, open Integrations and click “Connect Discord & set up workspace”.
  • Authorize on Discord and pick the server you want to use.
  • Socialix joins that server and automatically builds a “Socialix” category with your workspace channels.

What you get

  • A #create channel — run /create <link> here to turn a social link into a branded post.
  • A #posts channel — your finished posts land here automatically.
  • Type / in Discord to see every command (create, download, crop and more).

What we recommend

  • Use a server you own — a dedicated one is cleanest.
  • Keep Socialix as an admin so it can manage your workspace channels.
  • Run commands in #create and collect results from #posts.
