Good sources make a good automation: pages with the same kind of content as yours that post regularly and run few ads. “Find sources for me” searches Instagram for them. It lives in the sources step of the automation form, on Pro and Enterprise.
How it works
- Pick a template in step 1 first. Your template decides what a good source looks like.
- Enter your Instagram page. We read your public posts (about a minute) and ask “Is this you?”.
- Press “Yes, find sources”. The search takes a few minutes; you can leave the page and come back, the search keeps running.
- Remove the pages you don't like, then add the rest to your automation with one click.
What it costs
One search costs 150 credits on plans that use credits, and you get them back if it finds nothing. Where credits aren't metered, it is included in your plan.
Good to know
- It finds Instagram pages only.
- It isn't offered when the automation uses a folder instead of a single template.
- On Performance, “Use as source” on a page you watch starts a new automation with that page already filled in.
