Socialix always fails with a plain-language message rather than a broken post. The common ones:
- “Private or restricted”: the account or post isn't public. There's no way around this; use a public post.
- “We couldn't find that post”: deleted, or the link is mistyped or truncated. Copy the link fresh from the app.
- “This link doesn't contain a video”: a photo post fed to a video-only flow. Use Download, or a photo template.
- “Story has expired”: Instagram stories last 24 hours, and story highlights aren't supported.
- “Taking too long / rate-limiting”: the platform is being slow with us. These usually clear in minutes, so retry.
- “Links aren't supported”: YouTube, Facebook, Threads, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, Vimeo, and Twitch can't be sources. Instagram, TikTok, X, and Reddit work.
If a specific link keeps failing while others from the same platform work, the post itself is the problem (region locks and odd formats look like this). A failed job never costs credits, so retrying is always safe.
