With “Post automatically” off (the default), a News automation doesn't post on its own. It deals you story cards, and each post costs exactly one tap.
What a card looks like
- In Telegram, cards land in the automation's workspace topic: the story's photo, the niche label, the headline, how many outlets are covering it, and a source link, with one button labeled “✨ Create my post”.
- In Discord, the same card arrives as an embed in the wired channel.
- On the web (no bot connected), a “Today's stories” rail appears above your outputs library with the same cards.
Tapping it
The button flips to “Creating your post…”, the news engine renders the story in your template's branding, and the finished post arrives right back in the same topic or channel. The button then reads “✅ Posted to your topic”. If no clean photo can be found, the card says so instead of posting something ugly. Only the template's owner can action a card, even in a shared group.
Skipping and expiry
- Skipping in chat means not tapping. A card's button stays tappable for 14 days, then reads that the story expired.
- On the web, pending stories can be dismissed with the ✕, and they age out on their own after 48 hours. The rail is always today's stories, not a backlog.
- Stories aren't editable; the engine writes the headline and caption. If a story isn't right for your page, skip it. Tomorrow brings a fresh set.
